How the Referral Program Works
Sharing is simple—and rewarding! Our referral program is designed to make it easy for you and your friends to earn laundry credits while introducing more people to Friendly Laundromat. Here’s how it works from start to finish:
- Add your name and email – Add your name and email to your Laundry Card account at the in-store kiosks. This step is important so we can credit your account when your friend joins.
- Write the last 5 digits of your Card ID on a referral card – You’ll find referral cards at the laundromat—just jot down the last five digits of your Laundry Card ID in the space provided.
- Give the referral card to a friend – Hand it to a friend, family member, or coworker who’s new to Friendly Laundromat. When they bring the card in and set up their own Laundry Card account, they’ll become your referral.
You both earn $5 credit!
As soon as your friend becomes a customer, we’ll add $5 laundry credit to both of your cards. It’s our way of saying thanks for helping us grow our Friendly community.

Referral Program Terms and Conditions
To keep our program fair and fun for everyone, please review these simple terms:
1. Eligibility
The Friendly Laundromat Referral Program (“Referral Program”) is open to registered customers with a valid Laundry Card account that includes their name and email address.
2. New Customer Definition
A referred friend must be a new Friendly Laundromat customer—meaning they have not previously registered or used another Laundry Card at our location, 3175 Yorba Linda Blvd in Fullerton, CA.
3. Reward Amount
Both the referrer and the new customer will each receive a $5 Laundry Card credit once the new customer returns the referral card with your Laundry Card ID and they register their new Laundry Card with their name and email.
4. Reward Timing
Referral rewards are usually processed within a few business days after verification.
5. Multiple Referrals
There’s no limit to the number of friends you can refer. Each verified new customer earns one $5 credit for you and one for them.
6. Non-Transferable
Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
7. Combination with Other Offers
Referral credits may be combined with other promotions or Loyalty Program rewards unless otherwise noted.
8. Program Changes
Friendly Laundromat reserves the right to modify or end the Referral Program at any time without prior notice. Any earned credits before any changes remain valid.

Who can participate in the Referral Program?
Anyone with a registered Friendly Laundromat Laundry Card can refer friends! Just make sure your name and email are linked to your Laundry Card through the in-store kiosk so we can apply your credit.
How do I know if my friend counts as a “new customer”?
A new customer is someone who hasn’t yet registered a Laundry Card or used Friendly Laundromat before. Once they sign up and load value onto their Laundry Card, they officially qualify—and both of you earn $5 credit.
How do I get my $5 credit?
When your friend turns in the referral card with your name and card ID and registers their Laundry Card, we’ll verify both accounts and automatically add $5 to each Laundry Card. Credits are typically applied within a few days.
Can I refer more than one friend?
Absolutely! There’s no limit to how many friends you can refer. Each new customer who signs up with your referral earns you another $5 credit.
Does my friend need to bring the physical referral card?
Yes, please—that card helps us verify your Card ID and ensure both credits are applied correctly. Extra cards are always available at the laundromat.
Do referral credits expire?
Nope! Once the $5 credit is added to your Laundry Card, it’s yours to use anytime—for washers, dryers, even drop-off laundry service.
Can I combine my referral credit with other promotions?
Yes! Referral credits are yours to use, and when you spend them during your next visit to Friendly Laundromat, you will earn 10 points per $1 spent through our Loyalty Program. That is basically a double reward! It’s our way of saying thanks for helping us grow.
Where can I pick up referral cards?
Just ask one of our attendants—they are happy to help and will give you a few cards.
